Schneider Electric Issues €1.5 Billion Bond
On June 25, 2026, Schneider Electric successfully launched a €1.5 billion Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN). The issuance was split into two tranches: €800 million maturing in July 2028 with a floating coupon of Euribor plus 0.30%, and €700 million maturing in December 2033 with a fixed coupon of 3.375%. This move aligns with the company's strategy to pre-finance its upcoming debt maturities over the next year.
The floating coupon enables flexibility, reflecting current interest conditions, while the fixed coupon provides predictability for the longer-term tranche. These financial instruments underpin Schneider Electric's robust approach to managing its financial obligations efficiently.
