Adjusted Mid-term Targets for Schaeffler AG Until 2028
On July 31, 2026, Schaeffler AG announced revisions of its mid-term targets for 2028 following new market evaluations. A significant drop in market expectations has prompted the company to adjust its sales forecasts from EUR 27-29 billion to EUR 24-26 billion. This shift primarily affects passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
The E-Mobility division's sales target for 2028 has been reduced to EUR 6.25-7.25 billion, with an anticipated EBIT margin ranging from -4.0% to 0.0%. The goal of achieving break-even remains central.
In contrast, the Bearings & Industrial Solutions division's sales forecast is relatively stable, with an adjusted EBIT margin target of 9.0-11.0%. Uplifts of 0.5 percentage points each are seen in the EBIT margin targets for the Powertrain & Chassis and Vehicle Lifetime Solutions divisions.
