Sanofi: proposal to appoint Christel Heydemann as an independent director

On March 5, 2026, Sanofi announced its proposal to appoint Christel Heydemann, current CEO of the Orange Group, as an independent director. This decision will be submitted to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 29, 2026. This change is part of the strategy to strengthen the diversity of the Board of Directors, particularly following the departure of Patrick Kron, who held key positions during his 12-year term.

Christel Heydemann has extensive experience in leading large groups and managing industrial transformations. Her appointment, combined with the reappointment of Christophe Babule and Jean-Paul Kress, will maintain the Board at 16 members, with 57% female representation (excluding employee directors).
