Sanofi Agreement with US Government to Lower Medicine Costs

Sanofi has reached a significant agreement with the US government, aiming to reduce medicine costs for American patients while bolstering innovation. This agreement aligns with President Trump's requests from earlier this year and establishes a framework for lower prices and tariff-free operations for Sanofi in the US.

The agreement promises to decrease prices by an average of 61% for certain medicines available to state Medicaid programs. Additionally, Sanofi will offer discounts up to 70% on select medicines through platforms like TrumpRx.gov, ensuring affordability for consumers.

Sanofi's CEO, Paul Hudson, emphasized the agreement's role in advancing the US pharmaceutical landscape, highlighting the importance of recognizing and investing in innovation.
