Sale of the subsidiary Exail Automation by Exail Technologies
Exail Technologies has announced the sale of its Automation subsidiary in order to simplify its portfolio and improve profitability. This business, specializing in industrial solutions for the aerospace sector, will be taken over by its current CEO in May 2026. With 16 employees, it generated €13 million in revenue in 2025.
The Automation subsidiary, despite its proximity to the Advanced Technologies segment, presented limited synergies with the group's main activities, which focused on maritime drone systems and inertial navigation.
After a period of negative results, the entity moved closer to profitability in 2025. This sale will not impact the group's cash flow and will allow Exail to focus on its strategic activities. Employee representatives gave their approval, thus ensuring continuity for ongoing projects.
