Safran has reported an impressive financial performance for the first half of 2026 with a 19% increase in revenue reaching €17,571 million and a notable recurring operating income rise of 29% to €3,237 million, representing 18.4% of sales. The company's free cash flow also increased to €2,616 million, contributing to a strengthened net cash position.

The company attributed its success to strong demand for civil engine spare parts, with significant revenue contributions from its Propulsion division, particularly the LEAP engines. The Equipment & Defense segment also saw robust growth thanks to nacelle and electronic systems sales, while Aircraft Interiors improved driven by cabin and seat sales.

CEO Olivier Andriès emphasized that the company will enhance its production capabilities in response to increasing demands. Reflecting this positive trajectory, Safran has raised its full-year guidance, anticipating mid-teens revenue growth and operating income between €6.4 and €6.5 billion.
