Rockwell Automation Unveils AI-Native FactoryTalk Conductor
Rockwell Automation, the prominent player in industrial automation, has announced the launch of FactoryTalk Conductor, an AI-native orchestration platform. This new software is designed to integrate AI agents, skills, and workflows across the industrial automation lifecycle. Debuting at Automation Fair 2026 in Boston, it aims to be commercially available by Q1 2027.
The FactoryTalk Conductor platform is set to support engineers by accelerating system design, development, and testing activities. It facilitates natural language interactions and connects AI across Rockwell's suite of tools, such as Studio 5000 Logix Designer and FactoryTalk Optix. This aligns with a shift in industry toward orchestrated AI systems.
Key features include supporting enterprise AI requirements, reducing software complexity, and leveraging industrial expertise. The platform also empowers users to create custom AI agents. Automation Fair attendees will have the opportunity to witness live demonstrations of its capabilities.
