Rockwell Automation Enhances EtherNet/IP Solution with New Capabilities

Rockwell Automation, Inc. has unveiled enhancements to its EtherNet/IP™ In-cabinet Solution, aiming to support additional motor control and protection. This update facilitates the integration of more components within the control panel, simplifying wiring and diagnostics without necessitating a redesign.

The newly expanded release introduces a supplemental power tap and extends connectivity to 140ME Motor Protective Switching Devices and E100 Electronic Overload Relays. This empowers manufacturers to create more intelligent, connected control panels and enhance system visibility.

This development seeks to mitigate common industry challenges like limited data access and complex installations. By streamlining panel communication and improving real-time data access, the solution simplifies installation and sustains future scalability without major overhauls.
