Revolve Secures Key Milestone for 130 MW EL24 Wind Project
Revolve Renewable Power Corp. has finalized an interconnection agreement with Mexico's Comisión Federal de Electricidad for its 130 MW EL24 wind project in Tamaulipas. This agreement is crucial for connecting EL24 to Mexico's national grid, marking a significant development milestone.
The project also received its first environmental permit from SEMARNAT, further advancing it. According to CEO Myke Clark, securing these agreements reduces project risks and advances EL24 towards Ready-to-Build status. EL24 holds a unique position, being one of only five wind projects in Mexico granted a recent generation permit.
Revolve will now focus on engineering, turbine optimization, and exploring commercial options such as financing and partnerships, aiming for an RTB status by late 2026 and commercial operations by 2028.
