ReproNovo Begins EU Phase 2 Trial for Embryo Implantation Treatment

ReproNovo SA has commenced dosing in its EU Phase 2 clinical trial for RPN-002, aimed at enhancing embryo implantation in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). The medication, an orally administered oxytocin receptor antagonist, seeks to improve IVF and ICSI success rates by reducing uterine contractions. The study, named NORDIC, involves 120 participants across five European sites.

The trial will assess two dosing schedules, aiming to optimize results and improve pregnancy rates. ReproNovo's Chief Scientific and Medical Officer, Joan-Carles Arce, emphasizes the potential of RPN-002 to create favorable conditions for embryo implantation by addressing uterine contractility.

The NORDIC trial marks a significant advancement for ReproNovo's Phase 2 initiatives in fertility and women's health. Data from the trial is expected to shape future strategies for improving ART outcomes. Alongside its work on RPN-002, ReproNovo is advancing other clinical programs in fertility treatments for both men and women.
