REPLOID Group AG Launches REPLOID REGREEN to Focus on Fertilizer Market

REPLOID Group AG, based in Wels, Austria, has established a new company, REPLOID REGREEN GmbH, to consolidate its fertilizer business. Led by industry veteran Andreas Steinbüchler, REGREEN will focus on producing organic fertilizers using insect frass from Black Soldier Fly larvae. This initiative aligns with REPLOID's strategy to address Europe's dependency on imported fertilizers and the degradation of soil quality.

REGREEN's operations will initially target Central Europe, with plans to introduce fertilizer sticks for potted plants by fall 2026, followed by lawn and agricultural fertilizers. The use of insect frass, a nutrient-rich by-product from processed organic residues, positions REGREEN to leverage the rising demand for sustainable, locally produced fertilizers.

Andreas Steinbüchler, with over 25 years of experience in the fertilizer industry, aims to make REGREEN a key player in enhancing soil fertility sustainably. This strategic move also underscores REPLOID's commitment to scaling its fertilizer segment, which CEO Philip Pauer identifies as a significant growth pillar.
