Reju Launches First U.S. R&D Center in Pennsylvania
On July 1, 2026, Reju, a leader in materials regeneration, announced the opening of its first U.S. Research & Development Center in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. This marks the company's inaugural research facility in North America. The new lab, housed in Technip Energy's existing center, aims to advance Reju's recycling technologies and develop next-generation circular solutions. This expansion is part of Reju’s effort to build a closed-loop recycling ecosystem.
The new center signifies the relocation of Reju’s core research team from San Jose, California. The team developed the Volcat depolymerization technology, allowing polyester to be recycled into raw materials. Gregory Breyta, Director of Research & Development, expressed enthusiasm for moving the technology towards industrialization, supporting large-scale textile recycling.
Reju's continued global infrastructure growth includes facilities in Germany, the Netherlands, France, and the USA. The aim is to transform textile waste into new raw materials.
