Reju Selects Site for Regeneration Hub in Lacq, France

Reju, a France-based textile-to-textile regeneration company, has announced the selection of Lacq in Pyrénées-Atlantiques as the site for its new Regeneration Hub. This facility will focus on converting post-consumer textiles into high-quality recycled polyester, marking a significant step in advancing Europe's circular textile infrastructure. The hub will utilize Reju's advanced depolymerization technology to transform textile waste into regenerated raw materials, such as rBHET, aiding in the production of new polyester.

The project aligns with France's low-carbon industrial innovation strategy and is expected to generate 80 direct and over 300 indirect jobs. Pending final approval from Technip Energies, Reju's parent company, this initiative underscores France's leadership in sustainable industrial practices. Reju's efforts also support its global expansion strategy, with ongoing projects in Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States, aiming to establish a circular textile system worldwide.
