Recticel's Acoustic Solutions Power NASA's Artemis II Mission

Recticel Group, via its Soundcoat brand, has played a vital role in NASA's Artemis II mission with its specialised acoustic solutions. These materials contributed to the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, which embarked on a historic 10-day lunar mission from Florida on 1 April 2026.

The Soundcoat components were used in the Launch Vehicle Stage Adapter (LVSA) of the rocket, ensuring control over the internal acoustic environment to prevent resonance and reduce vibroacoustic stress. This application was critical for the protection of propulsion and avionics systems during the ascent phase.
