R.E.A. Holdings Reports Strong Semi-Annual Financial Results
R.E.A. Holdings plc has announced its results for the first half of 2025, showing significant financial growth. Revenue increased by 14% to $92.4 million, driven by strong prices for crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel oil (CPKO). CPO prices rose 13% to $856 per tonne, and CPKO saw a 96% increase to $1,657 per tonne compared to the previous year. EBITDA surged 55% to $33.4 million, while profit before tax reached $11.6 million, despite a $5.7 million loss from the sale of a subsidiary.
The company's strategic moves, such as repackaging Indonesian bank loans and redeeming sterling notes, have stronger financial footing. Its agricultural operations reported FFB production of 425,061 tonnes. Meanwhile, its commitment to sustainability continues, with 100% RSPO certification for its plantations.
Looking ahead, R.E.A. Holdings anticipates firm CPO prices and improved production from newly mature plantations, predicting strengthened financial performance and improved cash flows.
