Stock price chart of R. Stahl AG (EBR:RSL2) showing fluctuations.

R. STAHL AG released its half-year results, revealing a slight decrease in sales to €145.6 million, compared to the previous year's €151.2 million. The order intake also declined to €145.8 million, a 12.1% drop from the prior year's robust €165.8 million. Despite these challenges, the company managed to enhance its profitability, with EBITDA pre-exceptionals increasing from €8.9 million to €12.7 million, resulting in an EBITDA margin improvement to 8.7% from 5.9% in the previous year.

The company noted a stabilization of order intake in the second quarter, with a slight increase of 2.4% over the same period last year. The Asia/Pacific region significantly bolstered sales, growing by 48.8%. However, sales in Germany, the Central Region, and the Americas declined. Cost optimization measures contributed substantially to the improved profitability.

Despite the ongoing economic and geopolitical uncertainties affecting investment activities, R. STAHL confirms its forecast for 2026. The company expects group sales to stabilize between €285 million and €300 million, and anticipates an EBITDA pre-exceptionals between €22 million and €27 million. Focus remains on economic stabilization and enhancing cash flow discipline.
