LUMIBIRD Reports Slight Increase in Q1 Revenue

Lumibird Group has announced a minimal 0.7% increase in revenue for the first quarter of 2026, reaching €49.7 million. When adjusted for constant exchange rates, the revenue increase stands at 4.1%. The Photonics division, particularly, exhibited robust growth of 11.3%, powered by the Defence/Space and Industrial segments.

Conversely, the Medical division saw a decline of 9.2%, influenced by logistical and geopolitical disruptions. However, the company remains optimistic, citing secured orders and anticipating a return to growth driven by new product launches and logistical recovery.

Regionally, the Americas and Asia-Pacific experienced notable growth in the Photonics sector, although, the Medical division faced challenges. The rest of the world experienced a downturn across both divisions due to cyclical disruptions. Overall, Lumibird expects recovery and growth throughout 2026.
