Q.beyond AG Reports EBITDA Decline and Adjusts 2026 Forecast

Cologne, 21 October 2026. q.beyond AG has reported a significant decline in EBITDA for the third quarter of 2026, amounting to €-4.8 million compared to €3.0 million in the same period of the previous year. This downturn is attributed largely to provisions of €4.3 million due to an accelerated AI transformation plan initiated in August 2026. Excluding these one-off charges, the EBITDA stood at €-0.5 million. The company's revenues remained stable at €43.2 million, slightly lower than the €43.6 million recorded in Q3 2025.

The management has revised its forecast for the 2026 financial year, now expecting EBITDA between €-4 million and €-2 million, down from the earlier prediction of €3 million to €7 million. Revenues are projected to range from €174 million to €178 million, slightly adjusted from €176 million to €180 million. This forecast adjustment results from increased license costs and additional expenses for internal digitalization projects, including AI deployments.

Despite these challenges, q.beyond anticipates recovering with substantial revenue and EBITDA growth in 2027, supported by cost reductions through the AI transformation and heightened new order levels.
