Q3 2026 Results: A Mixed Performance Amidst Used Car Market Volatility
Ayvens reported a net income group share of EUR 240 million for Q3 2026, marking an 11.9% drop compared to the same quarter in 2025. The Return on Tangible Equity (ROTE) fell slightly to 13.2% from 14.3% in the previous year. Ayvens' earnings were influenced by a significant decline in the net used car sales (UCS) result, reaching EUR -21 million, down from EUR 75 million in Q3 2025.
Despite these setbacks, underlying margins rose by 4.6% year-on-year to EUR 817 million. Ayvens achieved strong cost reductions, reflected in a lower cost-to-income ratio of 49.2%. Operating expenses decreased by 5.1% to EUR 407 million, driven by increased synergies and strict cost management.
Challenges persist in the used car market, with high oil prices affecting ICE vehicle sales. However, Ayvens remains on course to meet its PowerUP 2026 targets, supported by strategic actions and robust financial metrics.
