Daily GenAI Users Experience Enhanced Benefits Amidst Workforce Challenges
According to PwC's 2025 Global Workforce Hopes & Fears Survey, workers using generative AI (GenAI) daily report increased productivity, job security, and pay. The survey, which interviewed nearly 50,000 global workers, reveals that daily users show higher productivity (92% vs 58%), job security (58% vs 36%), and salaries (52% vs 32%) compared to infrequent users.
Despite these benefits, only 14% of respondents use GenAI daily. The survey also highlights a divide in upskilling resources, with only 51% of non-managers feeling adequately supported compared to 72% of senior executives. Financial strain remains prevalent, affecting 55% of the workforce, up from 52% in 2024.
Nicki Wakefield of PwC emphasizes the need for business alignment and support to harness GenAI's full potential. Only 54% of workers have used AI for their role in the past year, indicating room for growth.
