Prospect Ridge's Initial Drill at Excalibur Indicates Potential Porphyry System

Vancouver-based Prospect Ridge Resources Corp. has reported promising results from its maiden drilling campaign at the 100%-owned Excalibur copper-gold porphyry project. This project is located within British Columbia's Babine porphyry belt. The exploration activity focused on two large targets identified in a 2025 geophysical survey and revealed significant intervals of hydrothermal alteration and sulphide mineralization.

The first drill hole, EXC26-001, intersected 515 meters of mineralization, consistent with porphyry systems. The second hole, EXC26-002, was drilled 948 meters from the first and encountered structural silicification and alteration indicative of porphyry systems. Despite pausing the program to assess initial results, further drilling and assay plans are anticipated.

This development positions Prospect Ridge for potential discovery in the Babine belt, amidst other notable projects in the region. Visual results from the drill holes signal significant porphyry potential, enhancing the company’s exploration momentum into 2026.
