Prospect Ridge Acquires Camelot Copper-Gold Project in British Columbia
Prospect Ridge Resources Corp. has acquired a full interest in the Camelot copper-gold porphyry project from Orogen Royalties Inc. This 2,646-hectare project, located in British Columbia's Cariboo Mining district, will undergo drilling in 2025, subject to regulatory approval.
CEO Len Brownlie highlights Camelot's potential as a "drill-ready porphyry target." Situated near the Gibraltar and Mount Polley mines, Camelot benefits from existing infrastructure. Identified by geologist Henry Awmack, the site combines historical exploration data, emphasizing a 1,700m x 500m chargeability anomaly not yet drill-tested.
Chairman Mike Iverson underscores the strategic acquisition in securing high-quality exploration sites at favorable valuations. The project has an area-based drill permit allowing up to 255 drill holes. Prospect Ridge aims to enhance shareholder value through aggressive exploration.
