Progress in Nano One's expansion in Candiac
Nano One Materials Corp. announces significant progress in expanding its lithium iron phosphate (LFP) production capacity in Candiac. Detailed engineering work is progressing and is expected to be completed by July 2026. Equipment orders have been placed with various suppliers to support this ambitious project, which aims for a capacity of 800 tonnes per year.
Following the investment decided at the end of 2025, the engineering is already 25% complete. Finalizing the procurement, installation, and commissioning is projected for the first half of 2027. Denis Geoffroy, Head of Operations at Nano One, is confident that the project will be completed on time and within budget.
The Candiac plant, with its integrated reactors, is ready to meet the growing needs of the battery market, while optimizing its processes through modular engineering.
