Private Equity Holding AG: September 2025 Net Asset Value
Zurich-based Private Equity Holding AG (PEH) reported a Net Asset Value (NAV) per share of EUR 152.88 (CHF 142.95) as of September 30, 2025. This marks a slight decline of 0.4% in EUR and 0.5% in CHF from the previous month. The decrease was influenced by unfavorable foreign exchange movements and challenges in underlying share prices, notably affecting the Kazakhstani fintech firm, Kaspi. While some portfolio funds, particularly in life sciences, witnessed positive valuation adjustments, they could not counterbalance the overall negative trend.
Despite these challenges, PEH recorded substantial cash inflows, with EUR 4.3 million in distributions against EUR 0.6 million investments in September. Significant contributions came from Alpha CEE Opportunity IV and Mid Europa Fund IV, following disposals in healthcare and e-commerce sectors, respectively. Additionally, PEH committed EUR 5 million to a European-focused life sciences venture fund, highlighting its continuous investment strategy.
