Poxel's Financial Performance in the Third Quarter of 2026
Poxel announced strong sales growth in Japan for TWYMEEG®, demonstrating a 29% increase to reach 2.9 billion yen in the third quarter of 2026. This figure translates to 16.3 million euros, surpassing the results of the same quarter in 2025. For the first nine months, sales increased by 32% reaching 8.1 billion yen, or 44.5 million euros.
These results enabled Poxel to cross a significant threshold of 5 billion yen, increasing the royalty rate from 8% to 10%, retroactive to Sumitomo Pharma's current fiscal year. This development led to positive net royalties after deducting obligations to Merck Serono.
Sumitomo Pharma expects net sales to reach 10 billion yen, which would allow Poxel to receive a bonus of 1 billion yen and increase its royalties to 12%.
For the third quarter, Poxel's consolidated revenue amounted to €1,951k, with retroactive adjustments contributing to this result. Poxel's cash position as of September 30th stood at €388,000.
