Possible Offer for Irish Residential Properties REIT by Barings
Irish Residential Properties REIT plc (I-RES) has confirmed receiving multiple proposals for a potential all-cash acquisition by Baring International Investment Limited. The latest proposal values I-RES shares at €1.386 each.
Despite the receipt of five proposals, there is no certainty of a firm offer. The I-RES Board, after a thorough evaluation, indicated a willingness to recommend such an offer, pending satisfactory due diligence and agreement on terms.
Barings must declare its intention by 9 November 2026, with the possibility of extending this deadline under certain conditions. Further announcements will follow as necessary.
