Porsche SE Adjusts 2026 Earnings Forecast Amid Volkswagen Impact

Porsche Automobil Holding SE has revised its earnings forecast for 2026. This adjustment follows Volkswagen AG's recent announcement updating its 2026 financial expectations. Volkswagen now predicts an operating return on sales of up to 1%, a reduction from the previous 4% to 5.5% range, partly due to a non-cash goodwill impairment of approximately 6 billion euros. This impacts Porsche SE, which holds a 31.9% stake in Volkswagen.

As a consequence, Porsche SE has adjusted its 2026 after-tax result forecast. Initially anticipated between 1.5 billion and 3.5 billion euros, it is now expected to range from minus 0.5 billion to plus 1.5 billion euros, while ensuring liquidity remains unaffected. The previous goodwill impairments at Porsche SE have mitigated the current impact on its financials.
