Porsche AG Announces Executive Board Changes

Porsche AG is moving forward with a generational overhaul in its Executive Board. Beginning on August 19, 2025, Vera Schalwig takes over as the Board Member for Human Resources and Social Affairs from Andreas Haffner. Concurrently, Joachim Scharnagl will replace Barbara Frenkel as the Board Member for Procurement. Schalwig is currently in charge of Human Resources at Porsche's headquarters, while Scharnagl oversees Procurement for New Vehicle Projects.

Additionally, Dr. Michael Steiner will assume the role of Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board as of July 1, 2025. Steiner, a Board Member since 2016, will focus more on Porsche's product development while stepping down from his leadership role in the Volkswagen Group.

Both Haffner and Frenkel have made significant contributions to Porsche. Haffner has been pivotal in maintaining Porsche’s unique culture, and Frenkel has enhanced supply chain resilience amid global challenges. Their successors, Schalwig and Scharnagl, are expected to continue advancing Porsche’s success.
