PolyU Startups Display Innovation at London Tech Week 2025
The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) participated in London Tech Week 2025, showcasing innovation and entrepreneurial achievements. As the sole representative from Hong Kong, PolyU introduced four startups specializing in AI, advanced manufacturing, and healthcare solutions. The event, held from June 9 to 11 in London, attracted global business leaders, industry experts, and investors, offering valuable collaboration and partnership opportunities.
The participating PolyU startups include Advantage Data Vision Limited, which utilizes AI to improve cancer treatment predictions, and Light-weight Technologies Limited, known for their innovative light alloy manufacturing. UbiquiTech Innovations Limited focuses on autonomous robots for urban and industrial challenges, while viAct enhances safety in heavy industries with AI monitoring.
The event hosted over 45,000 participants from more than 90 countries, including startups, technology giants, and investors. PolyU Vice President, Prof. Christopher Chao, emphasized the impact of these startups and the supportive role of PolyU's startup ecosystem, PolyVentures.
