Polaris Renewable Energy Reports Q1 2026 Results

On May 7, 2026, Polaris Renewable Energy Inc. announced its Q1 2026 results. Energy production decreased by 5% to 205,317 MWh due to maintenance in Nicaragua and higher curtailment in the Dominican Republic, partially offset by improved results in Peru and Puerto Rico.

Revenue reached $19.8 million, a slight decline from $20.3 million in Q1 2025, linked to reduced energy production. Adjusted EBITDA decreased to $13.5 million from $15.0 million the previous year.

Net loss was $0.6 million, improving from last year's $10.4 million loss. Operating cash flow generated $8.5 million, bringing the cash position to $97.5 million.

The Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority approved Polaris's Battery Energy Storage System project, pending final approval. A quarterly dividend of $0.15 per share is set for May 22, 2026.
