PNE Group Advances Wind Energy Projects in Germany
In the first half of 2026, PNE Group secured permits for five wind energy projects in Germany, boasting a total capacity of approximately 188 MW. These projects, sanctioned under the German Federal Immission Control Act, are set to significantly boost regional energy supply and support the energy transition.
The "Beerfelde" wind farm in Brandenburg will feature 14 turbines totaling 100 MW. In Lower Saxony, the "Ehren" project, a collaboration with a local bank, involves four turbines with a combined output of 29 MW. The "Balver Wald" project in North Rhine-Westphalia adds another 21 MW from three turbines.
The "Gebstedt/Willerstedt" project in Thuringia will expand by 14 MW with two new turbines, while "Gardelegen" in Saxony-Anhalt focuses on repowering, optimizing output to 24 MW with fewer turbines. These efforts collectively contribute to climate-friendly power generation upon completion.
