Dirk Simons Appointed Chairman of PNE AG Supervisory Board

Dirk Simons, an experienced executive in the energy sector, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PNE AG, effective January 1, 2025. He succeeds Marc van't Noordende, who held the position on an interim basis since August 2024. Simons, who joined the Supervisory Board of PNE AG in November 2024, was elected Chairman in December.

Simons brings decades of experience in the international energy sector, having held senior roles at Mainstream Renewable Power, Mabanaft, and Npower, as well as the RWE Group. Under his leadership, PNE AG aims to play an active role in the expanding renewable energy market, focusing on wind and solar power projects worldwide.

The Supervisory Board now comprises Dirk Simons, Christoph Oppenauer, Roberta Benedetti, Alberto Donzelli, Marcel Egger, Marc van't Noordende, and Dr. Susanna Zapreva.
