Pernod Ricard Sells Mumm Napa to Trinchero Family Wine and Spirits

Stock price chart of PERNOD RICARD (EPA:RI) showing fluctuations.

Pernod Ricard and Trinchero Family Wine and Spirits have signed a definitive agreement for the transfer of sparkling wine operations in the U.S., concerning Mumm Sparkling California, Mumm Napa, and DVX. This move allows Trinchero to exclusively manufacture and distribute these products across North America and selected Caribbean markets.

Trinchero, a longstanding Napa Valley company, sees this as a strategic enhancement to its portfolio, aiming to accelerate growth in a promising category. The deal includes acquiring the Mumm Napa winery and production facilities in Rutherford, further solidifying Trinchero's position among leading U.S. wine suppliers.

Pernod Ricard, excluding the G.H. Mumm Champagne brand from the transaction, will focus on its premium spirits and champagne. This aligns with its strategy to optimize resource allocation and generate sustainable value. The transaction is expected to conclude in Spring 2026, pending customary conditions.
