Payments Group Holding Rebrands as German Tech Holding
The Payments Group Holding (PGH), based in Frankfurt am Main, has announced a strategic rebranding to German Tech Holding GmbH & Co. KGaA. Originally founded in 2012 and rebranded in 2024, PGH aims to enhance its focus on venture capital investments. The rename reflects its commitment to nurturing emerging sectors such as Artificial Intelligence and BioTech.
PGH's investment efforts will concentrate on softmax AI and Cognicare AI, two areas with promising growth. Cognicare AI, focused on AI applications in elderly care, is poised to grow significantly, while Softmax AI is preparing multiple spin-offs in fields like civil engineering and education technology.
Besides AI and BioTech, PGH maintains a 35% stake in AuctionTech, a leader in digital real estate processes, and discussions with SGT Group remain confidential. The company's NAV per share is reportedly higher than its current market price, with financial results for 2025 expected soon.
