Partners Group Supports atNorth's Continued Growth
Partners Group, a major player in the private markets industry, is investing in atNorth's next growth phase. The firm will acquire 10% of atNorth as part of its infrastructure secondaries strategy. Earlier this year, Partners Group sold atNorth to CPP Investments and Equinix, marking atNorth's valuation at USD 4 billion. Since being acquired by Partners Group in 2022, atNorth has expanded to eight data centers and has seen contracted EBITDA grow 14-fold.
atNorth's growth strategy focuses on developing data centers in the Nordics, capitalizing on competitive advantages over larger European markets. Recently, land acquisition in Norway for a mega data center was announced. This move supports high-density workloads and hyperscale projects. Since the end of 2025, atNorth's contracted EBITDA has doubled.
According to Dr. Dmitriy Antropov from Partners Group, the reinvestment is supported by atNorth's growth and demand driven by AI. Partners Group's strategy emphasizes partnerships with notable data center investors. Its infrastructure secondaries program recently secured over USD 5.5 billion in funding.
