Partners Group Appoints Nicholas Smith Wang as Co-Head of Private Equity Technology

Partners Group, a significant player in the global private markets industry, has announced the appointment of Nicholas Smith Wang as Partner and Co-Head of its Private Equity Technology Vertical. Based in Baar-Zug, Switzerland, Nicholas will co-lead alongside Wolf Scheider and focus on new investments and value creation within the firm’s portfolio.

Previously at Warburg Pincus as Managing Director and Partner, Nicholas brings extensive experience in technology investments. He led initiatives in sectors like software and data services, contributing substantially to client returns. This new role at Partners Group aligns with its strategy, having invested nearly USD 10 billion in technology over the last 15 years.

Partners Group's Private Equity arm manages USD 83 billion in assets, marking Nicholas as its second new Partner following Tarak Mehta's recent appointment.
