Partners Group Appoints Pete Zippelius as Co-Head of Private Equity Health & Life

Partners Group has appointed Pete Zippelius as Co-Head of its Private Equity Health & Life Vertical effective September 2026. Based in the US, Pete will manage new investments and value creation initiatives in the Health & Life sector, continuing the firm's strong track record with USD 13.2 billion invested to date. He joins Benjamin Breier, who has been with the firm since 2022.

Pete brings over two decades of experience in private equity and investment banking. Previously, he served as an Investment Partner at Leonard Green & Partners, managing USD 8 billion in healthcare and life sciences equity investments. His earlier roles include leadership positions at J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank.

The appointment underscores Partners Group's commitment to strengthening its private equity leadership, alongside recent leadership hires in the technology and goods sectors.
