The Finnish Defence Forces are strengthening their capabilities with Parrot's micro-drones.
On February 24, 2026, Parrot announced that the Finnish Defence Forces had acquired ANAFI UKR micro-drones to enhance their intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. This order, which began in early 2026, represents an investment of nearly €15 million. Parrot is collaborating with the Boston Group on the implementation of this program.
ANAFI UKR micro-drones, equipped with artificial intelligence and optical navigation systems, offer an effective solution to the needs of complex operational environments. They enable secure management of communications and data in demanding conditions.
The Finnish armed forces emphasize the importance of unmanned aerial capabilities in modern conflicts. The ANAFI UKR, developed with the Ukrainian conflict in mind, represents a significant advancement over previous systems.
