Paris Approves New Consortium for District Heating Network
On December 17, 2025, the Council of Paris approved a consortium led by Dalkia, Eiffage, and RATP Solutions Ville for renewing the Paris district heating network concession. This strategic decision allows the consortium to oversee production and distribution under a new 25-year contract starting January 2027.
The network, a major component in energy transition, serves the equivalent of 450,000 homes, reaching nearly one million residents. The consortium emphasized its commitment to eco-friendly, cost-effective energy solutions in alignment with Paris’s ecological ambitions.
The City of Paris holds a 34% stake, while Caisse des Dépôts and the consortium hold 15% and 51%, respectively. This collaboration is poised to enhance public heating services, leveraging the expertise of existing infrastructure personnel.
