Ottobock Welcomes Dr. Katarzyna Mazur-Hofsaess to Management Board
Global MedTech leader Ottobock SE & Co. KGaA has appointed Dr. Katarzyna Mazur-Hofsaess to its Management Board, effective June 22, 2026. She replaces Stefan Heidenreich, whose five-year term has concluded. The announcement marks a significant shift in leadership for the company.
Dr. Mazur-Hofsaess brings extensive experience in the medical technology and healthcare sectors. Her previous roles include a stint as a Management Board member at Fresenius Medical Care and CEO of its MedTech segment. She also held prominent positions at Zimmer Biomet, Abbott Diagnostics, and Roche Polska.
A qualified physician, Dr. Mazur-Hofsaess's academic credentials include studies at the Medical University of Gdańsk and management courses at the Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Minnesota. Her diverse background is expected to enhance Ottobock's strategic initiatives.
