OPPO Photography Awards 2026: New Categories and Support for Young Creators
Shenzhen, China - OPPO has announced the launch of its Photography Awards 2026, aiming to provide a global platform for mobile photographers. This year's event sees the introduction of a new Super Video category, recognizing the growing influence of video in mobile storytelling. A total prize pool of $76,500 is available across various categories, encouraging diverse creative expressions.
In partnership with Hasselblad, OPPO aims to enrich creators' experiences through advanced imaging technologies. The awards introduce six categories in total, including Super Zoom, designed to push the boundaries of mobile imaging and empower creators to capture intricate details.
OPPO is also strengthening its support for young creators through the Filmmaker Accelerator Program, in collaboration with the Discovery Channel, offering mentorship and development opportunities. Additionally, the monthly contest format allows continuous feedback and exposure for participants.
Submissions are open globally until December 31, 2026, with entries accepted through the official website as well as social media platforms.
