OPPO Collaborates with Manus for Enhanced Agentic AI on Smartphones
In a recent announcement, OPPO, a global leader in smart devices, revealed its partnership with Manus. This collaboration aims to introduce advanced agentic AI experiences to smartphones. By integrating Manus' AI capabilities with OPPO's AI Mind Pilot, the initiative seeks to simplify complex tasks for users, aligning with OPPO's vision of Personalized Proactive Intelligence.
OPPO's President of Software Engineering, Kai Tang, emphasized the transition towards AI that proactively assists users. Manus' Co-Founder, Tao Zhang, highlighted the significance of smartphones as a platform for personal AI agents. This collaboration will first appear on OPPO's upcoming Find X10 Series, featuring AI Mind Pilot’s Agent Mode.
The system is designed with user privacy in mind, employing on-device models for local data processing and requiring explicit consent for external operations. This ensures user control while offering enhanced AI functionalities.
