Ondas Autonomous Systems and HEIDELBERG to Explore Strategic Partnership
Ondas Holdings Inc. and Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG have entered into negotiations to establish a partnership focusing on counter-UAV solutions and ISR systems in Europe. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed at an event commemorating 60 years of diplomatic relations between Germany and Israel. This collaboration aims to create European manufacturing capabilities for autonomous systems, enhancing defense modernization efforts.
German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Katherina Reiche, emphasized the mutual benefits of the partnership, noting it will enable swift drone defense capabilities in Europe while bolstering industrial cooperation. Eric Brock, CEO of Ondas, sees this as a strategic move to align with European defense modernization mandates.
Both companies aim to leverage HEIDELBERG's industrial manufacturing expertise with Ondas' autonomous technologies to expedite production and deployment timelines. This cooperation is expected to support critical infrastructure protection and expand market reach across NATO and EU member states.
