Saël Kumbedi transfers to Wolfsburg
Olympique Lyonnais has announced the transfer of Saël Kumbedi to German club Wolfsburg. The purchase option has been exercised for €6 million, with potential bonuses of €2 million and a 10% sell-on clause. Kumbedi, a French youth international defender, joined OL in September 2022 from Le Havre. He made 62 appearances in all competitions, providing 5 assists. Olympique Lyonnais expressed its gratitude to Saël for his commitment and exemplary conduct at the club and wishes him every success in Germany.
