Olympique Lyonnais Transfers Saël Kumbedi to Wolfsburg
Olympique Lyonnais has officially announced the transfer of Saël Kumbedi to the Bundesliga club Wolfsburg. The German team exercised their purchase option for €6 million, with potential bonuses of up to €2 million. Additionally, Olympique Lyonnais secured a 10% sell-on clause on any future capital gain.
Kumbedi, an U21 international defender, joined Lyon in September 2022 from Le Havre. During his tenure at the club, he played in 62 matches across all competitions and provided 5 assists. The club expressed gratitude for Kumbedi’s dedication and wishes him success in his future endeavors in Germany.
