Olympique Lyonnais Transfers Afonso Moreira to Bayer Leverkusen
Olympique Lyonnais has announced the transfer of Afonso Moreira to Bayer Leverkusen. The transfer deal could reach €33.6 million, including €4.1 million in add-ons and a 10% sell-on clause on any future capital gain.
Afonso Moreira joined Olympique Lyonnais in 2025 from Sporting Portugal for €2 million. In his first season, he made 37 appearances, scored eight goals, and provided 11 assists, becoming a standout performer for the club.
