Olympique Lyonnais Group Reports Revenue Decline for 2025/2026

Olympique Lyonnais Groupe reported a significant decrease in total revenue for the fiscal year 2025/2026, totaling €223.3 million, an 18% decline from the previous year's €273.7 million. The downturn is attributed to a substantial drop in Ligue 1 TV rights revenue following the early termination of the DAZN/LFP contract, alongside a less intensive events schedule and reduced proceeds from player trading.

Despite a 5% rise in ticketing revenue, largely due to a change in accounting for hospitality income, and record sales of derivative products, the club experienced a decrease in various revenue streams. Media and marketing rights saw a 16% fall, major events revenue plunged by 58%, and player registration sales dropped by 29%.

The recent acquisition by Olympe Bidco and debt restructuring aim to stabilize future finances. Additionally, the club's 4th place Ligue 1 finish secured a spot in the 2026/2027 Champions League qualifying rounds.
