Olympique Lyonnais Finalizes the Transfers of Lepenant and Benrahma
On July 2, 2025, Olympique Lyonnais formalized the permanent transfers of Johann Lepenant and Saïd Benrahma. FC Nantes and Neom SC exercised their respective purchase options.
Johann Lepenant, loaned to FC Nantes in the summer of 2024, had a remarkable season. His contribution was crucial to the club's continued promotion to Ligue 1. He played 31 matches and scored two goals. The transfer fee is €2.5 million.
Saïd Benrahma, after a year at OL, joined Neom SC on loan during the last winter transfer window. The Saudi club, new to the first division, bought the Algerian international for €15 million, including €3 million in bonuses, after his seven goals in 16 matches.
