Olympique Lyonnais Files Criminal Complaint Following Internal Investigation
On June 8, 2026, the Board of Directors of Eagle Football Group SA and its subsidiary OL SASU reviewed an internal investigation report. Commissioned by OL's management in December 2025, the report revealed significant concerns regarding previous management's conduct between May 2023 and June 2025.
The investigation noted deliberate operational disorganization and opaque financial management. It highlighted financial transactions worth hundreds of millions of euros lacking economic justification, occurring during cash-flow crises and delayed social security contributions.
Following these revelations, a criminal complaint against persons unknown was filed with the Public Prosecutor of Lyon on June 4, 2026. Alleged offenses include misuse of corporate assets, dissemination of misleading financial information, and related complicity.
Further investigations by Eagle Football Group remain underway, with potential for additional complaints and legal actions based on any future findings.
