OLB Reports 2026 Half-Year Results
Oldenburgische Landesbank AG (OLB) has released its half-year results for 2026, showing a profit before taxes of €81.8 million as of June 30th, following a successful performance in retail banking. The bank's net banking income grew to €344.0 million, supported by strong demand in private mortgages and consistent cost trends. A shift from IFRS to German GAAP reporting followed OLB's acquisition by TARGO Deutschland GmbH.
The loan portfolio stood at €25.8 billion, while customer deposits remained robust at €22.9 billion. Despite the external economic challenges, OLB's Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio improved to 15.2%. The integration within TARGO Deutschland aims to leverage synergies for enhanced liquidity management and earnings, underscoring a strategic plan for sustainable growth.
